Fear & Division
The Prime Minister says that he wants an immigration process free of fear and division. Agreed
All politicians say Canada has world class immigration laws. Agreed
If the laws were followed then we would not have illegal workers and illegal children. Agreed
So why:
- Do we have 1 million illegal workers and 150,000 illegal children?
- Why are 1 million illegal workers and probably 150,000 illegal children living in fear and division?
- Why are there so many successful scams bringing in more illegal workers and illegal children who will live in fear and division?
The answer: All this misery is the fruit of there being little political will to enforce the law.
Politicians of all colours (red, blue and orange) know, or ought to know, that their lack of will to respect Her Majesty’s laws encourages the scams that generate more illegal workers and illegal children.
Talking about “fear and division” while refusing to enforce the law is simply cover. The talk allows all colours in Ottawa to condone and torque the “banality of evil” culture that punishes one million workers and 150,000 children.
If Ottawa really wants to stop the “fear and division” lived daily by 1 million workers and 150,000 children, then the Immigration Minister should simply be instructed to:
- Enforce Sec 25 of IRPA : Identify and approve those who are already well established with a proven , productive commitment to Canada
- Enforce our laws without fear or favour
- Do what Brian Mulroney did in May 1986 and Justin Trudeau did in November 2017 : raise immigration targets , if necessary, to secure Canadian business
It’s not difficult. We have the staff and means to get the job done.
It’s also easier and more cost effective than living with the present corrupt, tax draining mess.
Thus, the choices are simple:
- Reap the benefits of following the law or
- Pay the high cost of breaking the law
