Comparing Trump and Trudeau on Undocumented Workers

If President Trump keeps his word on the processing of undocumented workers,  then he’ll prove himself significantly more transparent, responsible and liberal than our Prime Minister.

Consider the following:

Denial and bureaucratic voodoo  in Canada

• Canada does not formally acknowledge the existence of significant numbers of illegal workers (about 3 percent of the total population).

• Canada does not provide any statistics concerning illegal workers. Canada does not respond to any suggestion of any numerical estimate or location or source countries or job description or tax status or previous visa status  of illegal workers

• Since Trudeau does not acknowledge the existence of illegal workers, he sees no reason to deal with issue…It’s simple … out of sight , out of mind

• When the nation’s  largest urban area, Toronto and Hamilton, ignores the rule of immigration law by setting themselves up as Sanctuary cities ,Trudeau simply ignores the lawless flouting of the rule of federal law … see no evil, speak no evil

• When illegal workers are arrested and removed from Canada, it’s not the government’s or employers responsibility. It’s strictly the consequence of the worker lacking the integrity to go through the legal process.

• It is legal for an illegal worker to pay the government to set up his own legal business. It is the illegal worker’s obligation to pay taxes on illegal income. The illegal, tax paying worker has no right to health benefits. But the Canadian taxpayer will provide health services without asking for up front payment

• The Trudeau government refuses to issues work permits to illegal workers who pay taxes. But the Trudeau government will issue social insurance numbers to the illegal workers to pay legal taxes on illegal money

• Since Canada does not bother establishing a simple administrative process for employers to check a worker’s immigration status, employers are not responsible for hiring illegal workers, especially those who operate under a government approved company  

• Trudeau is in Federal Court claiming :

a) That there is no pathway whatsoever for any illegal worker to be legalized by proving successful economic establishment

b) The right to remove 3 percent of Canada‘s population without any assessment of any file on any condition

Trump owning his problem in the US

• Trump, aggressively, acknowledges the scope and nature of the US illegal worker issue ( about 3 percent of the total population )

• Trump , aggressively, acknowledges that the illegal worker issue is his problem

• Trump, aggressively, promises to vet each illegal worker on a case by case basis. There will be no amnesty. There will be no sending anyone back without an assessment of each file on the basis of criminality and degree of establishment  

So, who’s transparent, responsible and liberal?

                          And who’s not?
